I thought I should make something to take to my work Christmas party and who doesn’t love home-made cookies?? This recipe was so easy to follow and the cookies are so tasty!!!!
You’ll need:
250g butter, softened ½ cup caster sugar ½ 395g can (1/2 cup) sweetened condensed milk 21/2 cups self raising flour, sifted 1 cup white choc bits 1 cup milk or dark...
I do love this movie… I would even go so far as to say it is one of my favourites of all time… it’s hilarious, gross, a bit scary (I jump every time, even tho I’ve seen it 3 times) & has good messages for all…. Rule #32 Enjoy the Little Things.

MY DIY CHRISTMAS TREE!!
We don’t have a lot of room in our 1950’s beach shack so I decided to get creative..surprise, surprise ! I went stick-scouting & found the perfect branch…then borrowed some lovely sand from the end of our street to put in the jar to hold the stick up-right !!! hahah this is the end result :)

We heart flowers
There is nothing better than fresh flowers at a wedding…except for the cost. Florists are a *little over the top when it comes to prices. Source out your local flowers market or florists that will sell you wholesale bunches. It might scare some, but you can do it yourself ! I think everyone has the ability to know what colours go with what or just stick to your favourites.

Our wedding day
I can’t believe the day has come & gone already ! It was such an incredible day… Aiden & I are still in disbelief…it could not have been any more perfect ! We set the hall up the day before with an entourage of about 20… It was such a fun day setting up the lights, tables, decorations & we could not have done it without everyone’s help…....
In the booth

if your like me, you want lots of pretty vases with flowers in them at your reception…..but how do you afford to buy 100 vases & still keep within your budget….. EASY ! recycle wine bottles ! or any bottles really. if your not fussy about matching (im not a fan of the matchy-matchy) you can do this over a period of time before your big day ! Look in op shops too -...

I think photobooths are a great idea at any event, especially a wedding ! People can be a silly or serious as they like & you have a stack of wonderful memories for life. Now if your like me, photo quality is very important. The guys at In The Booth use a Digital SLR that is run by an actual person ! The images are big enough that you can individually blow up whatever photo you want...
